En el marco del proyecto de este año, Recorridos, los alumnos de séptimo grado trabajaron con el libro Emigrantes del ilustrador australiano Shaun Tan. Por medio de imágenes, el autor cuenta la historia del recorrido que emprende un emigrante al dejar su país y familia para instalarse a un mundo nuevo y desconocido. Los chicos reflexionaron y debatieron sobre los diversos valores que refleja la historia, como la tolerancia, la diversidad, la inclusión. Luego, trabajaron en grupo y aplicaron el contenido gramatical visto en la clase de Inglés para ponerle palabras a las imágenes del libro.

Following this year’s project, Journeys, the students from seventh form worked with the wordless book The Arrival by Australian illustrator Shaun Tan. By means of illustrations, the author tells the story of an emigrant’s journey when, after leaving his family and country, he arrives in a new and unknown land. The students reflected on and debated about the different values built in the story, tolerance, diversity, inclusion. Then they worked in groups and used the grammar studied in class to lend words to the images in the book.
